Attic black-figure stemless cup.

Fired earthenware.

Athens, ca. 520 BC.

Height: 7cm; Diameter: 18cm; across handles: 24.5cm.

Condition: Excellent, intact.

This cup decorated with palmettes and flower buds is attributed by Schauenburg to the Group of the Kamiros Palmettes, named so after the city of Kamiros, on the island of Rhodes, where the first pieces of that sort were found.
